An extremely popular plant since the early 1700s. In fact, its wide usage in Europe inspired Vincent Van Gogh to draw an Italian Cypress in his most famous piece--"Starry Night." Its needle-like foliage is very friendly to bodily infliction. This specimen is extremely hardy and resistant to snow. A plant able to withstand any climate in California. Interestingly, for those districts with cold temperatures, the cold induces the plant to produce cones.
