Known amongst collectors by several names: Toddy palm, Jaggery palm, and the Wine palm. This palm received many different names from the locals who would harvest the sap produce by the plant for their given necessity. The following products are still currently being produce along some regions of Asia: sugar, syrup, and alcoholic beverages. Its grey trunk, sharp frond scars, and hardiness makes this palm an exceptional addition to any city in Southern California.
